About YogaCrossroads

A boutique yoga center offering a quiet, peaceful setting for drop-in classes, private lessons and yoga therapy. Drop-in classes are small and with attention to individual student needs.  At YogaCrossroads, we practice and ahdere to a Code of Conduct based on Yama, the ethical foundation of yoga.

Whether you are considering yoga for the first time, or want to enrich and deepen your practice, we hope you'll take a few moments to download an Overview of Yoga, consider ten Good Reasons to incorporate yoga into your lifestyle, and review what's important when Seeking a Teacher.  We believe YogaCrossroads is a fun and happy place to come - enjoy taking a look at our Photo Gallery!

Welcome!

In the midst of a successful career, YogaCrossroads owner Deborah Gullo made a decision to return to the path of yoga, initially to alleviate anxiety and stress in her own life.  Deborah arrived at a crossroads of opportunity, empowering her to share her love of yoga as a teacher and yoga therapist; in late 2007, YogaCrossroads was born.

A certified yoga teacher (CYT), Deborah received her training at the Temple of Kriya Yoga based in Chicago, where she now serves as an advisor to yoga teachers-in-training.  She maintains registry with Yoga Alliance as an experienced teacher (E-RYT), and is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists - IAYT.  With a commitment to continued personal growth and learning, Deborah pursues ongoing yoga and meditation studies; attends teaching workshops with her beloved teacher, Kim; and has completed a home-study course in the basics of Ayurveda (sister science to yoga) through the Ayurvedic Institute of Albuquerque where she is a member.

As a yogini who believes in seva (service) and giving back to the community: Deborah serves on the board of directors for the Placitas Artists Series; teaches yoga at Haven House shelter for victims of domestic violence; is an international services facilitator for the American Red Cross in Washington DC; and is an active Rotarian (Rio Rancho Sunrise club).

Deborah shares her life and love with husband Sal - best friend and designer/builder of YogaCrossroads studio.  Together they have a son, Darin, daughter-in-love Amy, and two beautiful granddaughters, Emily and Mackenzie.
